How does online speech therapy work
You will receive all the information once the registration form has been received. We work with WeSeeDo. This is a Dutch platform for secure video calling, which establishes a good, stable, and secure connection between client and speech therapist. This works best on a desktop computer, laptop, or iPad/tablet. It is helpful if a quiet environment with minimal background noise has been created.
Online speech therapy is being used more and more through modern technology. Totalspeech online speech therapy offers online speech therapy for babies, children, adults, and the elderly.
You can come to totalspeech online speech therapy if there are problems in the area of:
- language (language comprehension, sentence structure, vocabulary, language use and language problems, also after brain injury (aphasia)).
- speech (delayed speech development, verbal apraxia, facial paralysis, lisping, fluency problems).
- communication (children with language and speech problems co-occurring with autism and/or intellectual disability/sensory information processing difficulties, advice on alternative communication) and oral motor problems (treatment of children who suck their thumb/incorrect tongue position/open mouth behavior, eating and swallowing problems after brain injury, general eating and drinking difficulties).
It does not matter whether you live in the Netherlands or abroad. We also treat Dutch clients living abroad. In many cases, Dutch expats would like a Dutch speech therapist for their children.
